mindful art is magic!!
I am bonkers about making art every day and I’m talking about mindful art.
Mindful art means creating without judgement or expectation for an outcome. It means allowing yourself to be present and imperfect. It is creative play and exploration — and it IS magic!!
Mindful art improves mood, reduces stress, overwhelm and loneliness, teaches us to communicate what we’re thinking and feeling, shows us how to let go of expectations and perfectionism, and teaches us to be radically self-accepting and loving.
Not only this, but it also lowers the heart rate, blood vessels dilate, the mind becomes calm and open, so we feel more optimistic and get dopamine and endorphins, meaning cortisol begins to be flushed from our bodies.
Mindful art is magic!! And my mission in life is to spread the joy of this, creative play, and relaxation to as many adults as possible so they can live well, aligned, and happy.

In 2023, me and my husband Žiga cycled from Slovenia to Southampton Hospital in the UK, where my dad was treated for cancer.
We had sponsors for all our kit and cycled over 2000km in 31 days. We raised over 17,000€ for charities. We arrived to Southampton on what would’ve been my Dad’s 59th birthday and had a big celebration with family and friends, making a sad day a happier one, replacing heavy memories of Southampton with something very beautiful (Look at us all together 👇 )
