Creative Team Building is all about taking rest in a way that is intentional, different from daily demands, and free from set outcomes. It’s often thought of as something fluffy and unproductive. But that unproductive fluff brings about incredible, immediate impacts like, stress reduction, engagement, connection to self and others, divergent thinking, problem solving, mindfulness, self-compassion, and much, much more.
Creative rest IS necessary maintenance for our ability to problem solve, think critically and analytically, to keep the brain stimulated and challenged, as well as in managing stress.
Did you know that just 20 minutes of colouring in is enough to release serotonin and endorphins which start flushing out the stress hormone cortisol? AND people that create together have better wellbeing and tend to live longer. Thanks unproductive fluff!!

Creative Team Building are 90-minute workshops that happen during the work day so they are a real break from daily demands.
Your creative session follows 4 phases

Phase 1: THE PLAYGROUND
We start in the Playground with open creative games: drawing to music, creating using your non-dominant hand, symbol making, copying, etc. This helps individuals relax and sink into a mindful approach where the end result doesn’t matter.

Phase 2: THE DISCO
Then we move to phase two: Time for Creative Collaboration!!
Team members are placed in groups to complete a collaborative creative task. These are intentionally ‘silly’ and low pressure. But they still require plenty of creative thinking, problem solving, and team collaboration, which is the point.
For example, your group are a band. Your mission is to write a song about one value you share. You have 20 minutes then we’ll come back together. Groups will giggle and open up, problem solve, create in community and get to know each other new ways.

Phase 3: THE GARDEN
Then we sink into the Garden, a holistic space for listening, sharing , and tuning in to the body. Groups share what came up as a team and what they co-created. Then we move into a grounding pallet cleanser to soothe the nervous system and round off the experience, leaving the everyone feeling seen, appreciated, and relaxed.
Phase 4: CLOSING REFLECTION
Finally, we close with a short, reflective questionnaire to help participants embody their creative rest and explore how bonded they feel now as a team.
I share these results with you as the team leader, so we have data on impact, engagement, cohesion, confidence, positive impact, enjoyment after each session.

There can be resistance from leaders around creative rest, which is why I offer a free 30 minute practice for decision makers to experience creative play before investing in it for their teams.
How does pricing work?
Prices start from £450, which includes a 90-minute workshop on Zoom for a team of 16, and increase with group size.
Do you offer a taster workshop?
I offer a free discovery call OR leader’s practice. So you can either bring your questions to a discovery call or invite your leaders to experience creative rest for themselves before investing.
Are you online or in-person?
These are virtual workshops and events.
Are these art workshops?
They are creative and ‘arty’, but the intention isn’t to create ‘Art’. The end result isn’t actually important. Instead, it’s all about using your brain in a different way to normal, encouraging divergent thinking and problem solving, encouraging play, collaboration, and enjoyment in the process not the outcome.

YES! All humans are naturally creative, whether we think of ourselves in that way or not. AND creativity benefits all of us because it teaches us to release the striving for control and perfection, to take risks, to be more expressive, it helps us relax and reduce stress hormones in the body, and it opens up our mind to new ways of thinking and seeing each other. You don’t need to be ‘good’ or to have done anything ‘arty’ before. I’ll guide you every step of way.
