A creative journey through the four seasons, harmonising personal and professional life with rituals of creativity, expression, meditation, and movement.

Brought to you by Alice and Ashleigh

Important question for professionals and business owners who KNOW there’s an imbalance between life and work, who are searching for meaning–and at the same time want to release the baggage, the ‘extra’, the BS that carries weight and negatively absorbs your energy:

If you could go on a 12-month journey, that plugs you back into every part of your life and brings you more motivation, more joy, more ease… and helps you do better work more effortlessly…

Would you be open and badass enough to make YOU the number one priority and go on that journey?

Image of a blue head with flowers, stars and spirals emerging from the top. Representation of a creative journey through the four seasons, harmonising personal and professional life with rituals of creativity, expression, meditation, and movement.

Here’s why anything less than an enthusiastic *head nod* is costing you big-time…

Every single day, as you sit down in front of your laptop, or you take the bus to work, or you sit in your car…

You know that more is coming at you – more tasks, more chores, more work, more, more, more.

And you know what makes the ‘more’ even harder? The fact that YOU KNOW IT’S COMING. It is relentless. There is no respite. No relief.

If you know, without a doubt, that you’re pushing too hard, you’re not making time for yourself and what you want and need…

Or your current reality is just utterly unsustainable (you’re fighting with your partner, yelling at the kids, not seeing your friends, and making mistakes at work that are raising eyebrows)…

Then keep reading…

Because what follows could easily be the most PIVOTAL moment you look back on a few months from now when you have radical clarity on what brings you meaning, and you’re starting to make a BIG impact in your work and your life.

But first…

Let’s look at where you are right now.

You’re a busy professional or business owner and your life is filled to the brim with–

▶ Client calls (and they want your SOUL)

▶ Content creation (which pillar are we on today?)

▶ Meetings, and zooms, and Asana, oh my…

A quick look at your diary and you know it’s going to be another day of laptops, videos and writing.

And not the creative kind.

In fact, you can’t remember the last time you wrote creatively.

You can’t remember the last time you did ANYTHING creative. You know… just for you. For pleasure. For joy.

And it’s not because you don’t WANT to.

You do. More than anything.

It’s because you have no time.

Or you’ve forgotten how to do it.

Your life is missing the one important thing that makes everything work properly…

👇

✨ JOY!! ✨

You know…

The thing that happens when you integrate meaning, a driving force, into every area of your life with devotion and consistency…

The reflection, personal connection, and creative expansion you need to elevate your voice!

And the BIG statements… the huge impact you could have because everything is being driven by clarity about what you are here to achieve.

Yeah, none of that’s happening for you right now.

And we get it. We do.

There’s no real time for that. Not in 2025. Things are too fast. Too crazy. Too LinkedIn and Instagrammed and TikToked up the wazoo for that kind of thing.

Who needs a deeper connection to meaning and purpose, anyway?

So you ignore that primal call to build with intentionality and self-compassion, and push on through.

And then…

Your kid has a meltdown because you broke his egg yolk

Or your dog hasn’t been walked in a week and it’s barking its head off so much that the neighbours call to check if everything’s okay

Or you haven’t seen your bestie in months and you realise that she’s not texting you on the daily like she used to…

And as you sit in a quiet corner, wondering how this has become your life… this incessant work… this lack of self-love and forgiveness, this absence of energy, vibrancy and purpose, this constant feeling that something is holding you back…

You start to doubt that getting unstuck is ever going to happen for you.

Here’s the thing though…you deserve more… you deserve time to unstick, to…

✶ Learn to view your experiences through a lens of self-compassion and forgiveness

✶ Release limiting beliefs that are holding you back

✶ Move forward mindfully, with self-acceptance and the skills to help you visualise and get intentional about now AND your future

Gain deeper self-awareness through creativity, connecting with your voice, movement and meditation

✶ Connect with your inner world, creative spirit, and subconscious through mindful art

✶ Discover rituals of creativity that will bring new energy, vibrancy, and purpose to your everyday

✶ Harness your true voice and self-expression through creative writing, acting techniques, and breathwork

Stick person drawing of someone doing yoga. Their chest is a lotus, symbolising harmonised movement and inner peace.

Imagine what could happen if you dismantled the rigid structures that are making you feel stuck and embrace the certainty of change…

…change in season

…change in situation

…change in work

…change within yourself each day

Embracing the certainty of change allows you to fully feel the joy of the moment, to appreciate the people around you, and to observe what is rather than being distracted by what has been or what may come.

3.    The unexpected is an opportunity

Unexpected things will always happen.

Life can spin wildly out of control.

You can feel totally stagnant and uninspired.

Trying to push through or force control in these situations only brings greater resistance.

When you embrace the unexpected, you learn to pivot, to regroup, reimagine, and maybe even make better than the initial intention.

4. You cannot work at full power all the time

And if you try to, you WILL burn out.

You WILL get sick.

Your relationships WILL suffer.

Work and life need to coexist because they have a direct impact on each other.

And your brain needs to be challenged.

Your body needs to move – it shouldn’t be stationary all the time, holding the same tension hour after hour.

You have one life to fill with meaning and intention – working all the time is not serving you.

5. Using your imagination will change your life

When you develop a ritual of creativity and you root it into your everyday life, your work becomes more fun, more enriching, and more rewarding.

Everything becomes more fulfilling. And that means you are WAY more excited to turn up each day.

Everything flows with creativity and calm, and you express meaningful ideas with ease and confidence.

Your personal and professional relationships blossom because your cup is full.

So, imagine if you had a creative project that you could work on over a year–imagine making that commitment to yourself. To your life.

Imagine it as a less passive, numbing way of relaxing, and a more present way of being.

Imagine the outcome of that!

A brain coloured in green, yellow and pink, symbolising a zen brain and mindset.

And if you’ve made it this far, you already know that.

What you might not know is that discovering this new meaning takes courage, commitment and resilience that is built over time.

If you can get on board with that….then we couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce you to More Joy, please! : A creative journey through four seasons, harmonising personal and professional life with small rituals of creativity, expression, meditation, and movement.

This isn’t a quick-fix solution. This is a long, slow, practice. Something you will do over and over again to root lasting change in your life.

Here’s what new meaning will bring you, if you commit to the 12-month journey…

You will:

⟡ connect with your inner power and purpose

⟡ make creative breakthroughs

⟡ find yourself talking and thinking with extra energy and ease

cut out the habits that don’t serve you

⟡ establish rituals of creative rest that ground you and help you find balance no matter what’s going on

⟡ feel inspired and excited to transform into your higher self and live your BEST, MOST IMPACTFUL life!

These outcomes are totally available to you!!

But they depend on taking a specific approach – an approach that lasts a full year.

A pink heart with yellow and red flames behind, symbolising radical love and self-acceptance.

We’re Alice and Ashleigh, two smart, hardworking women who know that playtime is just as important as work time.

We’re pleasure-seekers.

Joy-lovers.

Artists.

Businesswomen.

And we want to bring more creativity, rest, clarity, confidence and joy to the world!!

Hi, I’m Alice

A white woman is smiling and looking directly into the camera. Her chin is resting on her hands. She has curly brown hair and is wearing glasses.
You can find out more about Alice here.

Founder of Creative Tea Breaks, multi-disciplinary artist, educator, and facilitator who champions creativity and rest as tools for inner peace and growth.

I specialise in helping you connect with your inner world through mindful art, meditation, and manifesting so you can boss life in a way that feels aligned and mindful.

With me, you can expect to dismantle internal blocks, like perfectionism and self-doubt, and to lean into trusting yourself and being fully expressive!!

At CTB, we don’t care about making “perfect art“. We’re on a journey to befriend our emotions and feelings, to develop self-trust and inner calm, and to become the intentional impactful humans we’re meant to be!!

✿ embrace the moment

✿ soothe the nervous system

✿ shift energy

✿ foster resilience

✿ create without judgement

✿ become curious as heck

✿ be fully, unapologetically you!!

If that sounds like your idea of a good time, you’re in the right place!

And I’m Ashleigh. Hi!

Photo of a white woman with brown hair smiling. Her head is slightly tilted and playful. She is wearing a collared grey jumper. She is wearing striped blue, green, and stone grey jumper.
You can find out more about Ashleigh here.

I’m a theatre performer and conversion copywriter.

I’ve worked on stages in theatres all over the world – South Africa, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, England, Scandinavia, the Balkans, Zimbabwe, India and Singapore.

I’ve appeared in Funny Girl, Avenue Q, Mamma Mia and Come From Away.

AND I run a copywriting business. I’ve written for Emirates Airlines, L’Oréal, and Adidas. I’ve written content for Microsoft and General Electric. I founded The Story Team five years ago, a business that helps solopreneurs & founders write copy that converts audiences into loyal customers and clients.

My ways of finding my flow, resting, rejuvenating and recalibrating my mind so that I can KICK ASS in this world: Yoga. Yoga. Yoga. And more yoga. I love the hot variety, but I’ll take anything I can get.

Also tea – in large volumes. Music. Reading. Scuba diving. Regular trips back home to South Africa where I can be in the bush and hang out with lions. And really, really good coffee.

Now, I want to help you, the thriving professional, founder or CEO, thrive even more… by reconnecting with your breath and your voice to unlock your potential, amplify that potential and harness your energy. You will be immersed in exercises used by actors all over the world to trust your expression and your message with your writing, and boosting your energy and sense of play.

Your year-long experience will take you on a journey of self-discovery through monthly coaching sessions, guided meditations, yoga practices, and paired meetings, plus a creative project that arches over the entire year, from the buds of Spring to the depths of Winter.

This one’s for our professionals who are ready for transformation.

Our “I want more. I’ve got more to give,” professionals.

Over the year, you’ll work towards connecting with the moment, understanding and tapping into emotions and physical states, integrating creativity into each day, and become the most flexible, resilient, maybe even anti-fragile versions of yourself.

✿ Creativity will help you release the need for control and open up your playful spirit, making you more confident and trusting

✿ Writing, acting techniques, and breathwork will guide you to discover YOUR voice, what you’re striving for, and what important messages you’re ready to gift to the world

✿ Meditation and yoga will deepen your body, mind and soul connection, creating spaciousness and calm

✿ Paired practices will bring you a sense of community, that you do not have to go it alone, and show you what you’re capable of building and nurturing

✿ Finally, your creative project will help you witness how much change happens and how incredibly adaptable, resilient and courageous you are!!

By the end of this 12-month journey, you will feel deeply rooted in the moment, more comfortable with change, more resilient, more grateful, and have a more meaningful and harmonious personal and professional life.

Because this journey is setting you up for living creatively, mindfully, joyfully for life, you’ll also devote time to personal rituals each week.

💬 A WhatsApp messaging channel where you get weekly check-ins and prompts to do solo. This is also a space to chat and share as peers.

They say it takes 66 days for a new habit to ‘stick’. But we’re more than sticking new habits into our lives, we’re integrating a lifestyle shift.

It’s big.

The work is all encompassing, weaving through your life.

The time taken must be generous and work through the changing light, energy, and motivation so you know when to push, ease off, nurture, and expand.

Work and life need to coexist because they have a direct impact on each other.

You have ONE life to fill with meaning and intention.

This is your invitation to fully embrace that!!

Image of a facilitator placing a supporting hand on the shoulder of a creative explorer.

1. I’m not sure this is for me? How do I know FOR SURE?

♡ You don’t feel fully present because your brain is always running

♡ Work overshadows your life

♡ You feel torn in too many directions by work, family, social life, society, social media, capitalism, TV, or whatever else pulls at your attention

♡ You struggle to let yourself slow down and rest

♡ You feel burnt out and uninspired

♡ You’re ready to walk your most present and joyful path

2. I want to do this, but I’m already spread waaaay too thin. How much time is this going to take?

We hear you.

We’ve also woken up cuddled next to our smart phones.

Skipped meals.

Waited to long too go to the loo (this is really bad for you, you should never do it!)

But here’s the thing…

Finding your joy… reconnecting with yourself and putting YOU first will take less than six hours a month.

From April 2025 – March 2026 here’s what you’ll be doing each month:

1 x 90-minute guided workshop

1 x 15-minute meditation

1 x 15-minute yoga practice

1 x 30-minute paired session in week 4

+ 5-minute daily reflections in your journal

+ Dropping into the messaging channel each week

+ Slowly building your creative project (you can spend as much or as little time as you like here).

3. Can I sign up without a discovery call?

Nope. This is a very specific journey and we need to meet you before you can join 🙂

This is partly so you are fully onboard with the commitment, and partly because we need to make sure you’re also who this group is for. But we’re very easy-going and this isn’t an interview. So come as you are, and we can’t wait to meet you!

4. What happens after I pay?

You get an email confirmation straight away with all the details about the course, when you can access the portal, upcoming dates, your downloadable journal, and a welcome video from us.

If you’re an early birder, you’ll also get a message within few days saying who your 1:1 guide is and an invitation to book your first 1:1.

5. What’s the messaging channel?

This is a private chat, where you’ll receive weekly check-ins and guidance. It’s also a space to share about your journey, ask questions, and connect as a group.

6. What’s the creative project?

As part of your journey, we invite you to make a creative project that you’ll share in the closing ceremony in March 2026. It could be a painting, a story, a series of poems, a collage, anything that represents your journey towards Joy through the year.

7. How much time do I need to dedicate to this each week?

This depends on the week. Let’s break it down:

Week 1 : 90-minute workshop

Week 2 : 15-minute meditation

Week 3 : 15-minute yoga practice

Week 4 : 30-minute paired meeting

PLUS, we suggest setting aside at least an hour a week for journaling, exploration, expanding your practice, and working on your creative project. That doesn’t need to be an hour in one sitting: 10 minutes a few times a week is great.

8. I’ve never done anything creative before. Is this for me?

Do you want to change the way you turn up for yourself and your community?

Do you want to feel more connected to your thoughts and feelings?

Are you ready to express yourself openly and bring more joy into your life?

If the answer to any of those is yes, then this is for you.

9. I’m a professional artist. Is this for me?

Are you feeling blocked, uninspired or self-critical of your creative work?

Are you finding it hard to rest in creativity or do anything that’s just for you? Is work over shadowing your life?

If the answer to any of those is yes, then this is for you.

10. What equipment do I need?

✓ A computer with a working mic and camera

✓ Zoom + WhatsApp

✓ A space where you won’t be disturbed

✓ A dedicated course notebook + art materials that make you feel excited: pens,  pencils, and coloured pens or pencils, paints, collage material, oil pastels, crayons. This is an invitation to play and explore!!

✓ Dedication, devotion, patience and self-compassion (we’ll help you with these)

11. I’m not ready to commit. Can we talk first?

Of course. We don’t actually accept anyone onto the course before meeting them.

So book a free 30-minute discovery call here.

Doodle of a slug wearing lipstick.

So, if you’re still here, let’s wrap this up with a little real talk.

If you want to be a more human-centric leader who leads by example and brings joy and passion back into your business… you’re in the right place.

If you’re a creative whose excitement for creating has left you, and you need to feel those champagne bubbles fizzing through your veins… you’re in the right place.

If you’re a business owner who has lost their mojo and can’t even remember why they started their business in the first place… you’re in the right place.

And if you’re looking for a supportive community, two guides who won’t just hold you, but lift you up, and a place to create something for the pure unadulterated joy of it (all while getting better and better at work, because your brain is stimulated and full of happy hormones)… you’re in the right place.

If you’re ready, we cannot wait to take you on a journey of a new approach to life.

Join our journey towards JOY!!
